Rascal is a six year old neutered male. He is a return to our rescue due to a reported nip at one of the family’s children. Since he has been returned to our care we have seen no signs of aggression of any kind. He did come back to us with a skin and ear infection. He will need continuing care to keep his ears clean and he will need to be on a high quality grain free fish based dog food. Rascal is slightly overweight and will need to lose a few pounds (which can be achieved by not over feeding him). He is a sweet, quiet boy who loves his doggie bed, sleeps well in a crate and is housebroken. He does not try to get on furniture. He walks well on a lead but enjoys only short walks and will let you know when he is ready to go home. He gets along well with other dogs but is not interested in play. He would probably be best in a home with adults and/or older children. We suspect that he may have some joint issues and along with some weight loss may need a joint supplement. If you are interested in adopting him please fill out our application and call Mari DeCuir 865-688-2270.
