Fred is a seven year old, neutered male who is UTD on his shots, and current on flea/heartworm preventative. . He is an owner surrender because the family is moving out of state. Fred is a very sweet, laid back Bulldog. He has some difficulties walking and has been examined by our vet. He is currently on pain meds, a joint supplement, crate rest ( no stairs, climbing etc.) and his foster mom is giving him “range of motion” exercises at home to help strengthen his knee and we are keeping him on a strict diet to lose some weight to take the pressure off of his legs.
He does have seasonal allergies, especially after the grass is cut. He’s fine with other dogs and with children, but because of his lack of mobility we would want to place him in a family with older children. He is a good boy, just wants to sleep, eat and get belly rubs.
If you think you might like to meet this special needs boy please fill out our application and call Mari DeCuir 865-688-2270.
